Gould Co., our heritage spans five generations of silversmiths dating back to the late 1800s. Our Legacy
In 2003, working with the Historic Charleston Foundation, we created the iconic Charleston Gate Jewelry, capturing the intricate beauty of the historic wrought iron gates that adorn our city. Part of the proceeds from this line goes to The Historic Charleston Foundation, supporting their efforts in preserving our city’s architectural heritage.
Our journey began with the creation of Charleston Rice Beads in the 1970s, celebrating the region’s agricultural heritage and adding a unique, elegant touch to our collection.
We are proud to present the Philip Simmons Collection, inspired by the legendary Charleston blacksmith. Part of the proceeds from this line supports the Philip Simmons Foundation, aiding in the preservation and celebration of his work.
We are honored to be licensed with prestigious organizations such as The Daughters of the American Revolution, The Historic Charleston Foundation, and The Philip Simmons Foundation. We have also collaborated on special projects with The Smithsonian Museum, National Geographic, and numerous fine jewelry stores across the country.
Our Story
Alexander & Babio Co.: Established in 1986 by Scott and Stacy Gould, this venture interprets the stories and influences of the Southeastern U.S. through fashionable sterling silver jewelry. Stacy’s experience in retail jewelry from Lord & Taylor and Marshall Fields Corporate complements Scott’s expertise in manufacturing and design, honed at the Rhode Island School of Design.
B. Gould Co.: Founded in 1972 by Bernice and Scott Gould, B. Gould Co. blended Scott’s manufacturing skills with Bernice’s import expertise. Their products have been showcased in fine jewelry stores, gift shops, and museums nationwide.
